Baba is working all the time. It's not nice. I am happy that we are

I'm tired!

Stayed up late yesterday night with anti renno and ammo alain. Woke up
tired, and now were going to see dinosaurs. Taking a bite from the big
apple is not as easy as it sounds.

Borders

After a long day at school, mama brought me to the bookstore. It's one
of my favorite places. All those books. I just get a bunch and start
reading.

Zebras

This lady was talking about how melanin spread in band-like fashion
from the spinal cord. Nobody knows why the stripes are like that. I
like zebras. They are soooo nice

Natural history museum

Spent Sunday morning at the museum with MaBa. They wanted to show me
all the skeletons and beetles and birds and rocks and leaves and
stuff. It was beautiful! Then I got some bubbles from the gift store
and we played outside.

Late night

I am fast asleep in my new bed from Ikea. I am dreaming of tomorrow, so eager to go see the puppet show. Mama and baba want to take me to the Natural History Museum, but I think I want to see the puppet show more.

I have to say, it must not be easy for mama and baba to keep me busy and entertained without exhausting me. They want me to learn 6 different languages, 2 different musical instruments, and at least 2 different sports. 

Its tough being a kid these days. But it sure beats being a grown-up.


Had a lot of fun with Jojo today in the tree museum. Lots of different trees, many from China. I ran along the paths, and jumped around with baba. So funny, baba. He makes me laugh more that he makes me cry. I like that. 

I am going to wake up soon. I need to go back to my dreaming

so tired after playground where a lot of boys where nice and colorful hats. we ate at panera. i had a grilled cheeses sandwich, a lemonade, and some of baba's salad. yummmm. i aslo had chips, yogurt, and some of mama's summer clam chowder sold at 2.99 a cup. yummmm. i love my new bed so much.

My niece, the same age as my first spark, with the amazing insight to cry at the first sight of her hyper-virile, lunatic, and genial uncle, will break the hearts of all men with a single headstand.
Charles Abdulnour the First. Born into a family of Kings (his dad and grand-dad have names of Kings, whereas his uncle just means King), he will win the hearts of his subjects with the simple tout of his clearly genetically-defined chin.

New weight loss medicine

Yes. It is still under study, so not yet commercially available. Had it been so, it would have definitely been on many's letter to Santa.

Tesofensine. I just came across a PhaseII study (meaning, very early... PhaseIV studies are the best) that suggests that 0.5mg daily of that medicine for 24 weeks along with a diet (a message for eternity) can help lost close to 10% of body weight. YES! 10%... As an example, if I weight 80kgs, I would reach my 17yr old weight of 72kgs in less than 6 months.

Just bought a house
A nice one. Basement, two floors, backyard, front yard, fantastic neighborhood in a great city

The closing was precious. Julie on my right, Aya on her lap singing, signing her own documents with multicolored Crayola, the sellers in front of us; three Chinese siblings that grew up in the house. The youngest was CLEARLY attached to the house. The mother having recently passed, he could not accept the idea of never entering the house again. He was relentless in his attempts to get a last chance to see the bulky fireplace, lead laden staircase, suboptimally designed basement...
Frankly creepy.

Having a blast with the Naders and the Salamehs. Aya and Jovani give each other morning kisses, just to garantee viral and bacterial floral expansion. The four parents divide the labor efficiently, and bounce off each other ideas for a common future.

Had a great meal last night. Lebanese snack in the South End, managed by Walid and his blond girlfriend, serving the best Kafta i've had for a while.

The palm has 9 carpal bones. To memorize their latin names, here is a cool mnemonic:

Also, it seems the gap at the base of the wrist is normal. That is where I hurt the most, so I feared I had dislocated something. Dieu Merci, all was OK. I return to Broomball tonight. Will let you know if we win this time (no wins yet this season)

Just came back from a meeting with fellow residents. Discussed a liver transplant article

It seems that liver transplant recipients are at higher risk of many kinds of cancers, in particular Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, compared to the general Canadian population. It seems they have the perfect setup; many databases that span the whole country.

I need to do this thing! A powerpoint presentation in 5 days. I think I got it squared away, but I'm procrastinating in the last stretch.
